Online Student
Well I just want to start out saying that I've only been taking online classes for a year now. I'm not sure if I like taking all my classes online. For instance I have a math class this term and anyone who knows me know that me and math are like oil and water we don't get along. I feel like math is something I need to take in a classroom but so far I'm doing really well:-)For the most part online classes really helped me out. I wouldn't be able to attend any classes having to go sit in a classroom. The only thing that I really don't like about these online classes are when I have a question I have to wait days before I get an answer. I'm not sure how everyone else feels but in my opinion online classes has ups and downs. Most people that attend online classes have very different views. What are some of yours?......Anyone?

Nickola,
ReplyDeleteI hate, H-A-T-E, math! lol! I took statistics last term and I was literally ready to shoot myself! I managed to pass with a 74 and it was my only grade/class that has been below an 80.
Like you I hate waiting days to get answers. Understanding professors are busy too, but then it's left on our shoulders to do the work on something we don't know how to do and then if the teacher never responds, we turn it in to get a crappy grade. (I've had some professors that would never ever respond)
I think overall, the good out weigh the bad. Being a mother to 4 children 13, 4, 2, and 1 year of age, I would not be able to attend a on-ground campus. My children have never, ever had a babysitter unless it was my mother. I don't trust people enough to leave them with my babies.
Now, Kaplan as a whole, well, this will probably be my last term here at Kaplan. The financial department has killed it for me and I'm currently looking into other schools to attend.
